Since The Great 12oz Crash of 2009 I feel we need to start anew. I just finished Kafka's Metamorphosis, this was a perplexing read and made me feel a little like the main character. It's so easy to slip into the mundane. This is definitely on the re-read list for books to reflect back to. I also think I will dedicate an illustration and painting to this book. I'll post later when I get to it. Currently reading; I hope it gets scary!

Why protect yourself? Google logs and analyzes so much information about a chrome user's browsing habits, it can tell who they are, out of billions of people, without even needing them to log in most of the time. A lot more than targeting an advertisement can be done with your browsing history and info which is stored indefinitely. Along with the companies that pay to access this info, random google employees/contractor, hackers, or even government representative with no warrant can access it, and potentially know you better than you know yourself. So I'm sure you all have seen the hype and recent gains from bitcoin and other alt coins. I was able to grab small amounts of bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum when the upswing was starting. I would like to purchase some Ripple/ XRP but buying it is cunty as fuck. I think the easiest way to purchase XRP is buying it with LTC. If anybody has insight in this please chime in. Also when buying alt coins with other alt coins does that become a tax event? It never changed to USD so my assumption is that it's not a tax event. Meaning, I don't want to get taxed capital gains.

NOTHING tastes quite like things cooked on a charcoal grill. With the lid closed so that smoky flavor gets into the foods. I find myself doing this once a week at least in this season. I've been urged by a few fellow 12ozers to make this post. On December 26th I was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal adenocarcinoma. This cancer of the lower esophagus was caused by acid reflux, something I never even knew I suffered from. It spread to my stomach, liver, and other spots. Back in the late-summer I noticed there was a pressure and constriction in my mid-chest after eating food. Foolishly I waited until early October to mention it to my physician. I did a bunch of yard work over the weekend and we rebuilt our fire pit we have in our back yard. What did you get done recently, over the weekend, last week? What kind of goals did you achieve or milestones did you reach? Next on the list for me: building shelves that can support 1000lbs of weight. Well part time... As y'all know I'm a frequent movie goer. We have an art gallery/theater for plays, concerts, comedy shows, movies, etc... It's a non profit and for the last few years every Christmas my wife donates enough to make us members. Anyway, as a member you get discounted tickets to new artsy/indie movies and every month they do at least 2 throwback movies. The throwback movies are free for members.
