Damn, I need to get out and do some proper adventure trips again with some hiking

Not sure if these count for this thread, but hot summer & young kids mean most of my recent camping trips have been family friendly ones 4x4ing up and down the coast finding decent spots to set up for a few days for fishing & diving

Steelhead season again. Bumping this wondering if any of you alt right and super lefties are fishers.

Had plans of going out in the am, but the rain will prevent that until mid week.

will post my earnings once I am able to go.

Did you get any this last season?

Whitefish, skulpin and a sheephead. Four pack boat 12 hour to Coronado islands in Baja

i have heard pompano is delicious but haven’t ever had it. Nice catch

Nice! Never caught any of those before. You ever catch any yellowtail?

Florida pompano is the best tasting fish out there imo. I kind of slacked on the last pompano run and the handful I caught have all been eaten. The African pompano tastes pretty similar.

Here’s a dump of my past handful of trips. Weather has been tough, so not too many trips.

@KILZ FILLZWhich of those three species you caught is your favorite?

We catch a different type of sheepshead around my way.

The sheepshead was good. The whitefish kinda lended itself to however you cook it. We did some in foil envelopes with butter and lemon and some on the grill, both great. Haven’t eaten the skulpin yet but it’s supposed to have a lobster like texture.
