Ewok One, *****I name dropped someone here********, has been creating hate filled videos bashing other writers and then blocking those writers so they can’t see the trash he is posting on Instagram about them. Being a graffiti writer, I feel he should be down to battle it out rather than hiding in his artificial reality playing the internet thug game. I guess Mare and Museum of Graffiti let him hit the wall outside so now he’s to good for actual graffiti writing? Has anyone on this forum kept up with the shit he’s saying about Cope2 and now Mines? Cope is the one who put that mofo on to begin with! Anyone on here from NY, def think about raggin this dude anytime …

So I checked all over and even posted an inquiry about whether there was a thread for this subject or not and found nothing. This is for flexing your zine collection from over the years, especially the real good stuff from back in the day(but all zines are welcome..). They really don't make zines like they used to, and they have faded in popularity quite a bit it seems. So if you have any gems, feel free to get the nostalgia going. So here it is, contributions welcome. If it's a popular thread, that's cool...if it doesn't get many post that's ok, too.

Last year when covid started I finally decided to upload my Toronto Graffiti archive on Flickr, mostly because it's easy to edit very large groups of images and makes it very easy to search for work too then on a traditional website. I have images mostly from Toronto going back to 1995 (25 year anniversary last week) but also Montreal, London, Windsor, Detroit and NYC and benching too. Check it out and let me know what you think....there's lots of bombing hiding further back. I'm pretty sure you can set up a slideshow and just watch.

The other ink recipe threads are dying, and nobody wants to read through 10 pages to find what they want. Therefore I decided to start a new one. This thread is intended for those who don't know much about ink to start learning. I'm giving it my best shot to answer all of your questions. Now, lets take a primer in Ink 101. INK VS. PAINT There's two main things you can use as a base for your recipe: inks/dyes, or bucket paint. Ink and bucket paint do not mix with each other. If you're into getting custom colors that no one else has, get yourself some small containers of bucket paint. Two recommended brands are Rustoleum and One-Shot. While most people hav…

So I've wanted to get this going for a while and finally have time. I appreciate all the knowledge and conversation of the old thread, but with all the hiccups over the years, it is a wasteland of broken links, missing pictures, and conversations out of context and order. I plan on curating and pulling quotes of knowledge from the original as I find them going back through the 200 some pages, there is some real knowledge that needs to be maintained. I hope that 12 oz can again become a place of conversation about this outside of Instagram. Long term I'd love to see multiple threads talking about different facets of this hobby. IG will on occasion…

Been doing a lot of traveling the states over the past few years, and I've seen some writers almost everywhere I go. Just wanted to make a thread to talk about dudes or dudettes that get up on the go. Interested in what goes on living that lifestyle...and how some can pull this off. Would love to hear some stories, differences between cities, crazy people met, crazy things seen, modes of travel, etc. etc. Share any interesting tales of adventures! Who do you see all over? I've noticed these heads multiple times thousands of miles away from each other... Old Crow Read More Spring Break Fishglue Eye and Wyse D30 Nietz TAF

INTRODUCTION In this day and age, more than ever, police are using tactics that two years ago would be unthought of. Whether it is being done to repress political activity, stop general crime in communities or simply catch kids doing pen tags on the street it is insane what they can get away with, and what methods they are currently using. This thread is not supposed to get you paranoid, just alert. PHYSICAL CONDITION Undercover cops are cops who have been assigned to undercover work. Ask yourself if the suspect looks like he could be hired as a cop. Is he tall enough to be a cop? Does he seem to be in good enough physical condition to have …

K i know there have been lots of threds on here about making your own markers but what about modifying markers. I got the Jumbo Pilot permanant marker http://www.pilotpen.com/PilotPen/images/sc6600.gif'> and its cool and all but is there any ways you have modified it. I could experiment but i would probably fuk it up and that would be the end of it. I was thinkin it would be cool to put in paint some thinner and a mixing ball but i dont know if that would work well. i thought of getting the gold and silver paints out of the smaller pilot markers and putting them both in the jumbo but the small ones need to be pushed down for the paint to come out and this can…

i'm just curious if i'm the only person who thought "bomb the system" was the biggest piece of shit movie. i thought it was bubble gum bullshit, and the whole MTV quality was fucking annoying. i rented the movie, with high expectations, but was let the fuck down big time. then i was reading a thread, and people were saying they loved it. how? it was so fucking gay, it made richard simmons look like conan the barbarian. the acting was pathetic, the fucking script was pathetic. the fucking ending --fucking gayer than butt sex. who the fuck is going to paint the brooklyn bridge in the rain --i don't care who just got killed. did anyone tell the director that painting in the …

So, I'm fairly new to painting and I only have a few ups. I came to ask you guys for an honest opinion. I live in this small town with nothing, surrounded by larger cities where I can paint with the shit smell in the air, dirt, and constant construction. I came to a conclusion that I wanted to give up letters and move on to something that I feel represents me and has a meaning (not that yours don't mean anything) and thought that I believe in. I wanted to do trees, go around posting apple trees, etc (maybe even plant a few seeds around here and nurture them). That being said, a few days ago I found out there was a painter that goes by "PLANTREES," who is from the same sta…

Winner of the Sydney Film Festival Documentary Audience Award, Martha: A Picture Story is Australian filmmaker Selina Miles’s illuminating look at a remarkable figure: intrepid American photojournalist Martha Cooper, known for her trailblazing documentation of street art and graffiti culture. With disarming curiosity and a razor-sharp eye, Cooper became a champion of the underground. As a lone female intern at National Geographic, staff photographer at the New York Post in the 1970s and in her freelance work, she captured renegade street art, Japanese tattoos, ancient Mayan culture and American gentrification. The New York Times dubbed her 1984 Subway Art book the…
