any info?

zynolite is about as good as a 50 cent blow job from a 25 year vet of the times square boredello scene. in other words , youre better off saving the money , and saving face. that stuff is mad watery , mad hard to put caps on 99%of the time and mad shitty over all. dont even bother

I cant speak for todays paint, but the older zylonyte, the epoxy shit, is ill. I hear it was real good. I had the chance to test out 1 can of that stuff and it was thick. They also had some sick ass colors. Check out the site for pictures of those cans.

if you look at the cans and tips they are the same...

the safegaurd actually has a bx address like near where i used to live

on 182,,,

the contact is probably just manufactured by the same company as a industrial supply thing,,,the paint seems to have the same consistency

i liked that old frills label,,,

anyway if anybody is looking for some charcoal grey old skool krylon enamel i saw a bunch in a hardware store in krooklyn...

its called charcoal grey but looks dark blueish...

oh yeah im assuming you got them downtown in a discount store, theres actually two stores that have em near eachother like in the back next to the nofrills reject underwear packs

all covered in dust...one store has the yellow and red SG's and the with the black and white contacts and the other has the blue contacts....

dont sleep on that flat black contact i havent busted it an outline on silver with it yet but it seems to have that old skool true flat black style of krylon enamel not that runny environmentaly safe shit they sell nowadays

the old zynolite epoxy is what that belton molotow color "PJ green" is based on. it matches the zynolite avacado. apparently it was some of pj's favorite shit back in the day. red devil went down hill too as did krylon to a lesser extent so its no surprise that the old zynolite was dope.

aha!!! worldoflies has stumbled upon a crucial piece of paint collecting- history, mutherfuckers!

WHY did quality go downhill? don't die wondering!

1)Red Devil and Krylon are both bought by Shrwin Williams. the entire approach of both companies is skewed forever.

2)Epoxy paint goes out of vogue, perhaps by the better quality of appliance paint or the decrease of home improvement.

3)Stronger pigment bases lose their cost-effectiveness or are outlawed as solvent-based paint is slowly eased out of the consumers' reach.

(dropping science as if i was clumsy)

ps- the real question is this, is "PJ Green" a yuppie-paint duplicate of Zynolite Avocado Epoxy or Zynolite Fresh Avocado Epoxy? that's one to grow on.

Kalifornia Kolors were made in the late 80's by both Borden & Krylon. Read the back on these cans. They're paper labels and have to be the ugliest, loudest cans that Krylon ever made. All flourescent colors, they're not that tough to find but plenty of left coasters are going for the full set of six, they are disappearing.

3110 Kalifornia Kolors Oxnard Orange

3111 Kalifornia Kolors Yuba Yellow

3112 Kalifornia Kolors Ramona Red

3113 Kalifornia Kolors Gardenia Green

3114 Kalifornia Kolors Baja Blue

3115 Kalifornia Kolors Pasadena Pink
