So I've been talking to the mods as well as a handful of members I talk to in real life about the need and plan to draft rules for the community, as well as for specific sections. Likewise, we've also been discussing moderating protocols as a part of that. Anyhow, the community has seen steady growth, which is great. It ebbs and flows, but has been incrementally trending up since we relaunched it about two years ago or so. There's been a few spikes or exponential growth and there's a lot I'm trying to do outside the forum to build up budget to be able to take bigger steps with both the 12ozProphet brand and the forum. That being said, we're also li…

Was scrolling through Reddit and ran into a large amount of videos displaying racist assaults (both physically and verbally) on Asian people. Sensitive subject, but genuinely curious on opinions. Seems to be an idea of “racist free pass” going on. But from many of my Asian friends, it’s been an issue they just keep silent about. Would it be fair to suggest BLM takes accountability for the increase of racism in their community? Once again - I’m hoping to gather a better view point on a complex issue. 12oz has some very extreme differences in political beliefs and everything in between so fig…

seeing as how i doubt Dayton and El Paso will be the last of them, figured we should have one thread for them all.. Just saw this.. edit: turns out the dude was on cocaine, booze, and anti-anxiety medications.. https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/15/us/dayton-shooter-drugs-cocaine/index.html double edit: i only gave it that title as i figured we would specifically be talking about those shooting incidents. Doesn’t mean that’s all that can be discussed obviously. From what i’ve gathered mass shootings usually get lumped into 3 categories. Family, Gang Violence, Public.

are fine. you've been required to be vaccinated to go to school and to travel and more. plenty of people will go unvaccinated and risk dying, and that's freedom or whatever. individual businesses are probably free to discriminate on the basis of vaccination status, and i support that—their call. we're just trying not to fill the emergency rooms with covid patients again, that could be very inconvenient when that day's mass shooting happens.

In the age of “fake news” and cancel culture, all packaged in a thick layer of hyper polarization and extreme political division which is amplified by memes and all carefully orchestrated and spook fed to the masses by mainstream media and social media, I thought it might be interesting to circle back, explore and connect some dots on some popular “conspiracy theory” that eventually can be shown to be conspiracy fact. Since the MSM has shown to consistently ignore when new evidence is presented that bucks the narrative and social media has remained a shit show divided along partisan lines, maybe we can have some fun on 12oz and build out a repository that helps …

https://www.vice.com/en/article/k7adn9/car-location-data-telematics-us-military-ulysses-group "Although the company told Motherboard it has not sold the product to the U.S. government at this time, the news highlights the scale and reach of car-tracking technology, and the fact that car location data is of interest not just to insurance companies and the finance sector, but to government contractors who explicitly say they want to source the data for intelligence and surveillance purposes. Ulysses previously had a contract with U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), though for a different piece of technology."

It's no secret that Californians have been moving to other parts of the country. This, particularly has hit Austin, TX pretty hard IMO. Some people don't care, but I'm not one of those. My fear is that these are naive people that fell for political tactics and politicians that have done greedy things in the state.... and now that the state is effectively ruined in terms of many things, people are leaving in droves. The bone I have to pick is that the Californians that have landed here have, for the most part, absolutely shit attitudes towards Texas, the environment, and Texans in general. Texas is a place where men hold the door for women, it al…

Copied from : hxxps://psmag.com/economics/chinese-funded-costa-rican-soccer-stadium-explains-world-65667 SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA — On Friday, the United States men's national soccer team plays Costa Rica in San Jose. The Americans have never won in the Central American country during World Cup qualifying, posting an 0-7-1 record and getting outscored 8-1 over the last three matches. But head coach Jurgen Klinsmann's squad has perhaps its best shot ever at getting three points. Why? Because the match will not be played in Estadio Ricardo Saprissa, the loud, imposing venue nicknamed "the Monster's Cave" that featured fans on top of the action and a pockmarked artific…
