{OneSevenNine.com}
I agree, Tolstoy is win. War and Peace has been wonderful so far. It very much reminds me of Les Miserables, which I think I will re-read after I'm through with this. That book makes me sad =(
Weapon X
gosh i loved war and peace. anna karenina was porlly better but tolstoy is great. I've read so much Tolstoy but have kept W&P on the backburner forever..I should probably read it before I die. Currently reading: My first Austen. *Yeah, Hugo is good, too. I liked Hunchback, and read Les Miserables in grade five or six so I should really read it for real soon.

iloveboxcars
david sedaris is actually doing a book tour right now. i saw him in santa cruz 2 years ago or so, he's pretty funny in person as well. I suggest looking to see if he's got a date anywhere near you.
Schnitzel
it was a good book that I picked up in germany where english language books are pretty hard to come by and I really liked it. ] this was okay as well but if I'd been at a localmbookstore I wouldn't have bought it. that being said I will pick up some more of his if I see it a second hand book store! {OneSevenNine.com}
So handsome wanted me to watch Dracula with him. He really thought my snobby movie critic self would enjoy Keanu Reeves talk with a surfer English accent... I hated it. Instead I am now reading the book. It is excellent so far and just in time for Halloween.
