mudpuddles
homegirl picked up 'all the pretty horses' for me at a thrift store yesterday. it promises some light-heartedness so i might have to read another one of mccarthy's books before my psyche is ready. {OneSevenNine.com}
Tom Robbins and Sherman Alexi make me very proud to be in the Northwest. I've been reading this novel by Mary Mackey called McCarthy's list. It's hilarious and random. I like it but cannot find an image of it online. DISTRACT
Just finished reading these 2 books. Both were quite short and we done in 2-3 sittings. I absolutely love East Ellis' writing style and The Rules of Attraction would be up there as one of my favourite all time reads. Finally finished Shantaram. Have been reading this book on and off for a couple of months. It's quite long and at times slightly painful to read, but very rewarding. Just started reading this, only a few chapters in, so can't really give my opinion
