somethinglikethat
I haven't had the orchard white, but the Black Orchard was a letdown. Way too high on the carbonation. The Mischief, on the other hand, was great. And two thumbs up to the double dog. That's an awesomely unbalanced beer and I love the boozy finish. LUGR
^ that fucking Nakhon logo looks so cheesed out, i would pass on first impression alone. hope it tastes better than it looks. Nothing special about that beer except the price. That being said, it still tastes better than the Miller Lite I always drink. had a few of these the other day too... menaceIIsobriety
^ clean looking for a new "decently priced" brew for the wknd that lends a good buzz, other than high life & pbr which i have been drinking in record #'s

john_gacy
Drinking this right now. I've never had one before but im neither impressed nor disappointed, just neutral. It's has a small bit of sweetness and very light in body. Meh, would be a good summer brew where the point is to drink many of them in the hot sun. Celis USED to be the shit, great brews. Then for some reason they scaled back their production/distribution and it was no longer in my area. I happily found some some years later & it tasted like crap, don't know what happened to them. john_gacy
weiss beers are for germans. or females and amateurs graduating from miller light to something with a little flavor. I will enjoy a dunkel weiss from time to time, however. You're not drinking the right ones then.

mackfatsoe
What's the consensus on Victory Brewery? I've been wanting to try a few of their beers recently, but I'm disappointed by how expensive a case is considering it's a Philly brewery and I'm in Philly. the.crooked
They are ok. Some of them are interesting. Overall, meh. Not like my normal meh calls. Victory really is a good brewery, just not something I seek out often.

I can't speak on most of their beers but I'm a big fan of the Prima Pils plus it's a perfect beer for summer. Its not cheap though, got a six pack yesterday and it was $9. mackfatsoe
^Yeah I generally buy by the case...and all their cases are at least 10 dollars more than the Yards equivalent, which seemed weird to me. Meh.

misterblunt
You're not drinking the right ones then. what would you recommend?? I've been to germany and drank a lot of weiss beers. Maybe it's just a personal preference, but I really don't enjoy them as much as a lot of females and amateurs do.

theprotester
This shit gets jobs done, Tokyo by BrewDog of Scotland. 18.2%. Get a big ass hunk of cow or something to eat with this. Took me nearly an hour to chew through one.
crime stoppers
if i remember right, BrewDog are the guys that have a seasonal tiny batch beer thats like 40 percent (yes i know)? any idea, a bartender from work told me they sell for around 200 AUS a bottle, when they can get any. theprotester
They have a brew called 'Tactical Nuclear Penguin', which is 32%ABV. It's pretty much a barley wine aged in whisky casks. If you're in Perth you can order from the IBS on McCourt St in Leederville. I paid a bit under $20 for the Tokyo's.
