Yeah yeah, there are other threads............. from 2007.

 

So I am laying off the beer for a minute since my tolerance is ungodly.

 

I would like to be able to get drunk again, so I am turning to the only liquor that can get me tipsy: Whiskey.

 

I don't know shit about it other than the cheap mainstream brands give you the shits, so you can keep your JD.

 

I won't be drinking it straight up, I'll add a dab of diet coke, but I still want quality and flavor.

 

So what's a good in the 750ml $20-60usd range?

 

Green / Blue / Black / Red / Gold Label Johnny?

Knob Creek?

American, Irish or Canadian Whiskey?

I personally can't stand Jack Daniels shit tastes like licking a rusty pipe don't ask why I know what that tastes like.

hows the other johnny walkers? i've only had red label and havent tried any other cause i wasnt a fan of that. do they all got that charred coal taste to them?
