Schnitzel Posted August 23, 2018 Share Posted August 23, 2018 (edited) last Tuesday NZ bound for work Up at sparrow's fart to get my first flight - where I live has pnly two direct flights to NZ per week and boss was a tight arse who booked the cheapest ticket for me. Airport was chill as actually quite nice at that hour.Living artist festival was on. Liked this painting. Always curious why there's always a VS in an airpprt yet nobody ever shops there or knows anyone who shops there. flying into the sunrise the whole way. Melbourne from the air sniffer dog patrol at airport keeping us safe/sober whether we like it or not. By this point breakfast was necessary and this dimsum place was open but the chance of belly pork for breakfast lured me in. Was tasty but wasn't prepared for the mind numbing stupidity of the waitress who took my breakast table to table trying to find whose it was. despite me saying "hey.. excuse me.. oi.OI!" she wandered around , took it back to the slide and then the chef walked over picked it up and gave it straight to me while cussing her in an asian language back in the air and finally hitting auckland photos stop for a while because I discovered that out of four bottles of wine i brought as presents two had samshed and my bag was literally in a plastic sack dripping red wine. taxi into town giant wall by askew looked awesome but missed it both ways ? staggering around dripping red wine looking for entrance to apartment. ( I had the wrong address - mine was for the car park) then beers and dinner with the crew before getting so pissed I nearly missed the meeting I flew all the way to NZ for. Spent first two hurs thinking I'd puke then next two hours wishing I would the meeting went on. my coworker ordering something from the cocktail list then realising it was virgin drink had lunch with team then wandered around the area. Auckland has a very unique tagging style. that has lots of roots in La styles due to polynesian guys working over there and bringing things back in the 80's early 90's (those spiral "S" letters if you know what I mean) think they call them "straights". to some they look pretty toy but I dont mind them since they are really kiwi and traditional and fairly undiluted by the internet. My boss on the left getting hyped to Nelly or the thong song girl in blue t-shirtwas recently divorced and she was so keen on getting laid. Ended up fucking mr hedge pisser. night falling and knowing that I had long day ahead I took it easy the rest caned it hard. up way too early next morning having to drag my coworker out of bed so he could get his flight. feral breakfast on plane but it was greasy so that was all that mattered 15 fucking hours later I was home. the flight only takes 4.5 hours direct my boss saved $100.00 by booking me on the fucking shittest flight ever but then lost $200.00 on my ubers and lounge acess due to 6 hours sitting in the airport days in pies bonus stack of bread I snapped in Onehunga Edited August 23, 2018 by Schnitzel 2 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
