metronome Posted July 16, 2006 Share Posted July 16, 2006 i would think with jeeps you'd be more interested in the torque than the horse power. when your generating enough horsepower to move a 3/4 ton machine from 0-60 in about 5 seconds you're generally creating more torque than horsepower. it takes some serious snap to get you off the line that quick. those srt-8's beat the turbo audi a4's, the lexus is300, the mercedes slks and the bmw m3s off the line Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
