abcs
on state land they cut sections of forests down. While I cant testify as to how other states do it this seems like a low tech and effective way to deal with a fire threat. Southern Ca seems to have this problem every few years. Why dont they clear a ring around the city. May be expensive but if and when a fire like this spreads into a high density population center its going to be a big deal. Envision a block of 60 homes. Each is a high intensity inferno above and beyond the brush and trees. Its hard enough for firefighters to get 1 housefire under control

Its hard enough for firefighters to get 1 housefire under control the only way to stop fires in california is to cut down every fucking tree, but that's not a solution. forrest fires are completely natural and should be allowed to continue to happen. anybody who lives in an area vulnerable to forrest fires is bringing it on themselves

ILOTSMYBRAIN
Damn. If I had a huge forest fire by my house every year. I'd just move. In fact if I was looking for a home and found out my home was subject to constant forest fires. I wouldn't buy it. To each their own. And word to everything ABC just said. Pistol
Looking towards the fire from around 20 miles away. the smoke cloud was pretty awesome. my partner and i parked and were just watching the cloud morph. it looked like cauliflower then it looked like expanding foam sealant. /nopyro /nh btw those tits are san onofre. closer to san diego rather than Los Angeles.
