Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World was my intro book to him. I think because of it, it will go down in history as my favorite. Short stories is Airplane and Barn Burning. I enjoy his characters dialog and interactions. You can sense their intimacy by his descriptions . I am comfortable feeling that uncertainty when I finish his short stories. This is the BBC Documentary on Hiroshima. I've read a few books on this subject in school. Since I live in the Northwest where one of the largest internment camp was located, we are taught about this subject. It's interesting to me, I have family that is Japanese and on their side of the family have members who have memories from the camps.
