I have 4 jalapeno plants phasing out and 7 phasing in... I think I'm gonna kill the last cayenne but I'm going to plant more later.... I'm big on peppers.

Not impressed by the Thai Hots...

Real Thai food restaurants are hard to find. Even harder to find are ones that use proper spices. Anytime I see a fuckin' crushed pepper seed in the meal, you know they're on some foul shit. I found a few, few places that ground up the chili pepper so fuckin' finely granulated that it's almost like dust, and no seeds at all.

If you find this my friend, get that shit like 3x - 4x X-tra hot, and something in a brown sauce (this should turn the sauce completely light red) and you've got one of the most hottest, tastiest dishes you'll ever find.

I've actually belittled my closest friends sexuality when they don't go for spicy... not like 'yer gay' but like 'have you ever REALLY given a woman an orgasm?"

Haha yeah, i look on people with disdain who cant handle spice, disdain i say.

get bad cravings if i go without. I went for one of those "hottest curry ever deals" a while back, it was piece of piss, quite dissapointing. I think you get to a point with this shit where nothing will satisfy the craving, no matter how hot.

there is such a thing as too hot for me tho. Dont get me wrong. I put hot sauce on everything. I make some scorcing hot salsa but ive noticed if you ask for your hookup

extra hot from a thai restaurant it can be so hot its unpleasant. Kills the flavor of the food.

Its like they do that shit on purpose to put you in your place

gawd damn. this is my place. propped.

pro tip #1: old bay + fries

pro tip #2: if you make hamburgers, mix old bay and/or worcestershire (sp?) sauce into the meat when kneading the ground beef. adds a little bite. also hot sauce on burgers is delicious although outside the south you get looks for it.

pro tip #3: hot sauce on pizza

i used to grow peppers at home; hungarian hot wax, which look like this:

Hungarian%20Hot%20Wax%20Peppers.jpg

(not too spicy once you cook them, a little bit of heat)

and another variety which is escaping me right now. hot peppers are fun as hell and not hard to grow

lets not forget about curries

ive had some really tasty, spicy fucking curries in my day

This looks interesting i want to try it

CURRY SALMON

2zr2j9j.jpg

Serve salmon over rice pilaf with a side of asparagus dripped in lemon butter

boneless salmon for two

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 shallots, finely chopped

3 cloves of crush garlic

a pinch of cayenne pepper

2 medium tomatoes, diced

3 tablespoons of curry (be sure it is fresh for the best flavor)

1 pint of light cream

salt and pepper to taste

1 box of Near East rice pilaf, original mix

Prepare the rice as per the range top directions.

Salmon: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shallots and garlic, stirring until soft. Add cayenne pepper and tomatoes. Stir ingredients; cooking for about 2-3 minutes. Add curry powder and cream, stir until well blended. Add two - three salmon pieces, skin down. Spoon the mixture over the salmon. There should be enough sauce to come at least 1/2 of the way up the sides of the salmon. Lower the heat to medium-low and cover tightly. Let simmer for 5 - 10 minutes or until salmon is cook to your liking. Test with a fork. Spoon mixture over the salmon from time to time.

Plating the Dish

Place a 1/2 cup or 1 cup of rice on each dish. Place a piece of salmon on each plate next to the rice. Pour the sauce over the fish and the rice. Serve with a green vegetable. While this salmon dish is fast and easy to make, it is quite impressive in flavor and will have your amore whispering sighs of adoration in your ear.

while I like spicy food I find too hot takes away from the flavour.

Word, fuck ruining good food with too much or using spice as a turd polisher.

My local Thai place got the proper application of heat distribution on lock though.

Eat a few bites, start sweating, grab napkin, wipe forehead, take a drink of beer and repeat.
