Living in a van down by the beach doesn’t seem so bad until you begin considering taking shits in a bucket... and using 24hr Fitness for showers...

Good question. Gas stations and rest stops are still accessible. I also imagine most of these “van dwellers” are just old guys or new age travelin Kerouac type dudes with plenty of resources to tap into.

Feel bad for dudes shitting in buckets when there's free range shitting.  Especially when you could use that bucket to wash yourself up, solves the shower problem.

Why do you only have one bucket? Put one bucket (with lid on) on your roof in the sun for bathing and put one in the shade for shitting. 

 

I'll take a pic of my car  camping shit bucket later today. It's a 6 gallon bucket, so the height is nice, though I've recently found a 7 gallon bucket, but I already have stickers on the 6....
