I have a question about staking that I hope someone can help me out with (may have been asked before)

if I’m staking cardano, is there any benefit to claiming rewards more or less frequently? Specifically thinking about the fees.

do I end up paying more in fees by collecting the rewards each month instead of letting them stack longer and collect one or twice a year?

does it all wash out to be the same?

@KILZ FILLZI claimed rewards, and have also ended my stake (using Exodus Wallet) and even that fee was negligible. At the time it was around .19 ADA in fee's so I'd imagine you could claim rewards, and send to exchange monthly for less than a dollar. I'd just do it once and track the fee's to see if they even matter enough to care. Hard to give a hard number because fee's and rewards change. Technically speaking the less you do it, the less it will cost you over the long term.

These niggas will never not be creepy. However. And obviously feel free to tell me to stfu, but, can someone show me when any of these video threats have ever actually amounted to any real action? Because I feel like I'm under a rock and nothing ever ends up happening.

You are correct, occasionally they'll hack into a company's servers and release info, or just fuck them up temporarily but that's it. I thought it was interesting from the shifting public opinion perspective from favorable, to unfavorable centered around his crypto grift.

They did indeed put him on blast. Makes total sense, too. Got me wondering just how valuable those Tesla stocks are gonna be now.....

Wow, nice one @ndv, I'll have to look into that story later. Should be spicy.

Not much on the story here through the local media outlets, all that was added to the segment was some government lady basically saying they where able to recover most of the funds.  She specifically stated that she could say how 🙄, but yeah, it's nice to know that BTC is traceable and potentially can be recovered.

Seems like it's only time before commercial service is offered to the public to recover crypto funds if someone is scammed.

However, from my understanding a crypto washer prevents traceability.  If I find a legit washer on Tor.  I'll post it for education purposes only.  You got that, YouTube? Lolz

I hold some VET

not sure about the other two

BTT seems to give me the impression it's before it time.   As for RVN I am guessing it's best suited for mergers & acquisition which would probably might never become profitable unless insider information is obtained. ??

Anyhow, I can't find the other crypto I wanted to ask about, but basically it's value and function is for authenticity of goods of its traceability from factory to consumer and further more in second hand markets.

^^ it's this one I am really interested in long term.

Anyone fuck with AMP? Just got some of that for free watching one of those Coinbase videos. No idea what it is, and it ain’t much, but i’ve got close to like $30-40 worth of free coins at this point at $3 a whack from these stupid videos that i’m just going to sit on because i’ve invested absolutely nothing, ha. A few i’ve converted into other things, but some of them i’m gonna let ride. May even throw a little extra at em if i’m feeling spicy.

@abrasivesaintwhere do you watch the videos? I only get the slide show things.. desktop? I always just immediately convert those freebies into something else I’m holding. Keeping that portfolio tight

Ya thats what i meant i think, i think Coinbase refers to them as videos but yeah its more like a 5 page slideshow, haha.

Showed up for me now. Must’ve been on delay for some reason. Have you pinned down how often they add these? Seems like 3-4 times/year?

I haven’t, i’ve gotten a few so far though. Most are $1 a pop totaling $3 a slide/video, but i got one that totaled like $10 or something, cant recall which coin that was at the moment.

edit: i got that new one yesterday, before that it had been a few weeks.
