shaolinmasta
Pacino is different in film roles eg. Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Scent Of A Woman, The Godfather (he should have won an oscar for part 2), Scarface, Heat, Donnie Brasco, The Insider, Insomnia Granted a lot of them are mob figures/cops but each one is a different character. He was brilliant in Donnie Brasco, Godfather part 2, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Scent Of A Woman & Scarface. He probably won his oscar through the crappiest role there though. Agree on Phillip Seymour Hoffman he's a great at what he does Doubt, Charlie Wilson's War, Capote, Owning Mahowny, Punch-Drunk Love, Magnolia, Boogie Nights all pretty different and nails every single one. Benicio Del Toro though I'm not sure if he is underrated is an awesome actor I saw Things We Lost In The Fire and reminded me EXACTLY of a friend who died from a heroin overdose. SwampFightOner
Vincent D'Onofrio. Obviously most people know him from Law and Order, but dude steals every scene I've ever seen him in
detroit red
Never heard him referred to as such, maybe I'm just out of the loop. No worries, I correct people all the time when they call The Wire underrated, so it's some payback ha yeah...most people arnt really up on him because dude has only been in like 5 films. i hear he is super duper picky about what roles he takes. but dude is so monster that he stays in character for months after the film is over. and anyone who says the wire is underrated should just end their lives now. troofandroomaz
When I saw Rutger Hauer up there, I immediately thought of William Sanderson, always top notch in whatever work he's doing. And... grim540
When I saw Rutger Hauer up there, I immediately thought of William Sanderson, always top notch in whatever work he's doing. And... Edward James Olmos, underrated IMO, another Bladerunner alumni Olmos killed it in BSG, plays a tough old bastard like nobody else. Also American Me, he stared in and directed that movie and it is probably one of the best prison movies ever made.
