nicklesndimes
met the author of this book at the mall, i'd say, over a decade ago at least. he was signing copies of another book in this series that had just came out. asked some questions for a bit, genuinely interested in the series, but always regretted not buying one from him. anyways, i've been railfanning again(and really enjoying myself..) for the first time in years and years so i borrowed this book from the library as a resource, and look what was inside lol

One Man Banned
Used to do something similar to @Ko SprueOne, but I'd take someone's book and add a personalized autograph to them from the author, or to them from someone famous. To my biggest fan...... 1

Dark_Knight
@metronomethats the last of his English translations that I haven’t read. How is it? I have to be in the mood for anything he writes but he’s one of my favorite Japanese authors.
metronome
@Dark_Knight it's been a while but there was plenty of nihilism in the characters that it sounds like Showa Era might have. Hadn't thought of him in years but seeing your post jarred my memory. I'm gonna have to put some of his other stuff into my reading list. Both weird as fuck.
