So yeah, the last few days I basically had this:

2011 Black Metal Stout

2011 Ranger Creek Le Bestia

2011 Ranger Creek Mesquite Smoked Porter

2008,2007,2009,2010 Orval

2008 Russian River Beatification

2009 Russian River Supplication

2009 Russian River Consecration

2010 Mikkeller Chipotle Porter

2011 Ninksasi Oatmeal Stout

2011 Caldera Mogli (Chocolate porter)

2011 Southern Star Buried Hatchet

2011 Bombshell Blonde

And the piece de resistance

This brewery is no longer around. I found this in January in Ledger's Liquors in Berkeley. Saved it for the trip I just went on. OMFG, honestly one of the best beers I've ever had. I've never had an older beer (2006) that has honestly held up so incredibly well. It's a sour cuvee that was blended and released a year after it was brewed. It was a deep and yeasty red that tasted like everything I want apple cider (the proper non-alcoholic type) to be. A wee on the vinegar side (obvs since it's a sour), but a wonderful oak, apple, and berry taste on top. It finished light with a hint of yeast. The nose was certainly hinting at its age, but didn't do justice to the amazing amount of perfect carbonation left in the bottle.

Other than this wonderful fucking beer I will never have again in my life, the best were as follows:

Supplication

Consecration

Beatification

Chipotle Porter

East bay beer heads,

Beer Revolution is having some people step in and serve some food on the patio (As they are want to do). It's gonna be all vegan, but it should be good no less. And the beer at that place speaks for it self.

Always good beer, good people, and a nice patio.
