count chocula Posted June 4, 2009 Share Posted June 4, 2009 next day we went to a philly's game. the east coast don't play when it comes to fat people food. reppin'. they played the braves - and lost. east coast fans LOVE their baseball. it's nice to be in an area where the majority truly appreciates the team. sprinkles in full effect. never seen a pabst add before. trendy. peeped out south st. back to the spot to read the local paper. cover article was on this cat named 'big city phil' who is making a name for himself bashing hipsters. apparently he's gangster. went to some schnazzy joint to eat. food was good - but the portions SUCKED. these people were sitting in baskets that hung from the ceiling...shit looked mad uncomfortable. had to offset the uppity restaurant, so we went to get some greasy spoon diner pie saw this in the bathroom -- i luld. they had a fucking cigarette machine! i couldn't believe it...so i had to buy a pack. classy shit. next morning we hit up this 'sugar waffle' spot. shit is off the hook. i could go for one now. i wanted to peep out philly so we started walkin'. count chocula Posted June 4, 2009 Share Posted June 4, 2009 love park. orly? i always feel comfortable in every chinatown i've been too. this one felt a bit small /nh, but i think i'm spoiled by sf and oakland. politic'n with Ben. again - fatness. they put cheese on everything. lots of walking. lulz. /nh? this sculpture was pretty much ridiculous. it had george washington at top on a steed. below him were bitches and native americans and bears fighting lions and shit (or something like that)...i was impressed. that's the same sculpture ^ back to the bar. had to try the 'famous' cheesesteaks. some cat in line made it a point to compliment me on my A's hat. ate at both places to see which is better. Pat's wins HANDS DOWN.
