Cocaine?! lots and lots and lots.. i was walking out of the Favela CantaGalo one day with a chic who lived there and i saw a huge pile of money beside about 30 kilos of coke and a pile of gram bundles.. selling it right on the street.. i couldnt believe it..id never seen so much coke in my life..only in a movie.. the hardest part was walking past someone with a gun and not turning around to see what they are doing.. i mean who wants to turn their back to someone with heat?? Pfffffffffft Posted October 10, 2007 Author Share Posted October 10, 2007 THIS OLD LADY LIVED IN A DWELLING A FEW SHACKS DOWN FROM WHERE I LIVED THE LAST 2 WEEKS I WAS IN RIO.. she was a bit senile and would always want to talk to me.. i didnt understand shit, so i would just talk right back to her.. these kids were awesome.. they were related to the lady i was staying with in favela cantagalo.. this day, they took grocery plastic bags and tied them to strings to use them as kites.. they were to poor to buy kites at a cost of 60 cents US.. i ended up buying kites for them all.. these slums are over run by kids.. quite sad for kids to be living in these conditions.. i went to a kids school party that was celebrating Brazils version of thanksgiving.. it is celebrated in the WHOLE month of June.. nothing but drunken parties and people dressed up.. here are some photos from the kids party..
