edit: it's called Shochu, which is basically sake but it's distilled rather than brewed. Straight up with ice, no fruit juice in my shit.

 

Unless you're making a sangria(which sounds nasty), what do you mean by putting fruit juice in it?

typically you mix shochu with a fruit juice (orange/peach/etc) or certain flavored teas. i've heard of it being mixed with hot water and ume-plum concentrate. I tried a bit with some apple juice mix (not apple juice like Motts or some shit), and it was ok, but i like mine clean on ice only.

 

they sell shochu cocktails straight out of the vending machine all over japan, strawberry, plum, lime, lemon etc. Pretty sure i would be an alcoholic if i lived there permanently. The native alcohol is just so good.
