  1. I just read this thread!!! I love ya’ll ❤️❤️❤️ I tested positive NYE. I was fully vaxed, very careful, still cycling, wearing my N95 mask and somehow it finally got me. 2 emergency visits. My partner had to shake me awake one morning, he thought I was dead. Excruciating pain just all over my body and I remember thinking I’d rather be dead but I survived. Be careful, it’s still out there. I know I’m late by a year but thank you for the kind words. will post noodz as a thank you… jk! I would never! 😘

  3. Damnit man. So many of these old ass files are corrupted. Turns out it was a mountain of porn. Like a literal avalanche of smut. But here are the few things I was able to salvage.

  4. Holy shit y'all. I just recovered my old school Photobucket account. Thinking about paying the $6 to hopefully unlock the holy grail of early days 12oz. Might just be a bunch of porn. Who knows!

  5. I use 14' and 16' step ladders fairly frequently hanging chandeliers and what not. I'm somewhat safety minded, but if I can stand on top of the 16' for 5 minutes to get the light up INSTEAD of spending 30 minutes stacking 3 bucks of scaffolding (let alone load/unload time on that shit) I'm all over it. Hopefully I don't fuck that up anytime soon. Highest extension I've ever used was a 48' stretched up to 40' in this stupid ass mansion ceiling. The height wasn't so bad, but the act of getting the thing back down with only two of us in a furnished home was terrifying. I actively work on the opposite side of the house when I see gutter guys (usually Latin of some sort around here) bungee cord (not even tie downs) a couple 28's together to reach the third story on the back side of a slope. I am not trying to see that shit fail.

  15. I worked with a waitress from Rhode island who was always drunk or baked , and had the extra nasal high pitched accent while trying to do a upper Michigan accent. Her younger sister was even higher pitched. So Rhode island hands down. Hollywood/Malibu vocal fry is a close second.

  17. Yep, I get that cringe feeling watching anyone who isn't blue collar, or at least handy try to work with ladders, tools with zero experience. Watched someone try to figure out a cordless drill the other day, they had no idea how to loosen/tighten the chuck. I thought they were going to rip their palm off trying to figure it out. Didn't say shit because they were the easily butthurt sensitive type and I could see the bitch in them struggling to come out.

  19. Same, my wife and her friend were late for some social thing the other day when I was doing it but they wanted to stay incase I fell. I've literally worked on ladders and roofs most of my entire adult life. Guess it's the number one ladder activity people that don't work with ladders normally get hurt doing. They have these new gutter clips you attach using an extension pole now. Might use it next year for more safety and convenience. you basically attach the lights/clips on your gutters with the pole and run the wires.

  20. My wife, bless her, won't let me put lights up because she's paranoid I'm going to fall off of our roof or something. I'm not a bonehead or anything, but you never know. We do lights around our tree and up and down our porch column etc, wreaths on our lights.

  21. Progressive metal mainly. should have added Liquid Tension Experiment as it was probably the most listened to artist of all for my past year but it falls under the Dream Theater banner anyway. Could also have added the band Beyond Twilight to the list as well given I listen to them a lot despite there only being three albums, but they are all killer with “For The Love of Art and the Making” perhaps the most unique and ambitious album of all time as it is different every time one listened to it on random https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_the_Love_of_Art_and_the_Making?wprov=sfti1

  22. Or my man needs a set of French doors installed on his second story front and center of the house with one of those little faux balconies with the wrought iron railing so that he may show his face during times of dispair, share important news, and wave to all of his adoring subjects... Erm, NEIGHBORS, to show solidarity in the trying times to come.

  27. Well if we're gonna start kickin up Amish graf history here's some more historical facts: The Amish invented the precursor to etch, mixing the chemicals in a butter churn. The Amish invented the rooftop. Pieces were painted on the eaves of barns prior to being raised into place, leaving others to wonder "how did they get up there?!" The first known Amish writer was Ezekial 2517 AKA Zeke
