S@T@N Posted June 12, 2004 Share Posted June 12, 2004 So Glik0 and I went and saw this tonight, with somewhat high expectations because the previews make it out to be awesome. We were not disappointed. Vin Diesel actually turns out to have real lines in this one, and ends up playing the role rather well. Props to him for starring in his first movie that isn't shit. The visuals made the movie here, and the plot wasn't as hokey as I had anticipated. The only real problem I had with the movie was the guy who played the black religious man in Pitch Black. He's back with the same HORRIBLE acting skills and reeeeeally puts a strain on the first 15 minutes of the movie. Everything past that is excellence. 2 thumbs up. When I was in the theater, glik0 and I unfortunately sat in front of a group of townie trash morons.. you know the kind that repeats EVERYTHING that happens in the movie seconds after it happens. Well, it comes to that part where the guy gets caught in the sun and is burned.. the guy is like "HOLY SHIT IT BURNED HIS FACE OFF." Keep in mind that at this point, the theater is silent except for the movie music, and I bust out laughing as hard as I possibly can at the ridiculousness of the guy behind me.
