Drue_Down
I made a major switch to Vodka lately as part of my new eating/drinking healthier habits, but I do occasionally still dip into the good stuff. Had some of these last night: Unibroue - a fruity /nohomo beer, not too shabby.

thecarwreck
shit man, those are on sale at Safeway right now. I've been sleeping on the Sleighr for a minute now; next week for sure. just finished the Elysian Night Owl (last chance for pumpkin ale for me): good one to end on. Now it's only heavy dark stuff until spring (or until I get sick of heavy dark stuff).
the.crooked
In response to theprotestor- I beg to differ, I often don't like a lot of "coffee" stouts because they feel like they have this "powdery" sort of mouth feel to them. It's like instant coffee in beer. I really like the civet beer because you can tell that it used whole beans in the brewin process, not something ground, or essence of. But dat's just me. Another great example is the Bourbon County, Coffee. Fucking wonderful beer as well.
VANDALICIOU$$$
anyone fuck with Rolling Rock? I drank a six pack of it the other night and thought it was pretty good and not too pricey
menaceIIsobriety
i fucks with the rock, i think just recently they started to mass produce the 24ozer at like a buck 99. don't let all this beer snob shit fool you. i have been up, down & all around. when it's good, i drink good. but when pockets are on low, i know where to turn. theprotester
In response to theprotestor- I beg to differ No dramas mate, if we were all the same we'd just be sitting around drinking mass produced flavoured water. Perhaps one of the main reasons I dislike Mikeller is the price for a stubbie in Australia. I think the 1000IBU cost me $45/stubbie. Not cool yo. the.crooked
I was actually sort of discussing this with my girlfriend last night. How I wondered if your perceptions were skewed because of pricing. Things may seem "not as good as it should be" because of how fucking much you have to pay. The most I've ever paid was $90 for tactical nuclear penguin, but that's pretty much retail standard on that bottle. I was looking up the costs of the bourbon county, rare, coffee and vanilla last night. It's at like, $290 for a set of all three on ebay. Yeesh. Fist 666
i'm jealous. i know some of you guys don't like canned beer because of 'can taste' but i love the it. if you have any more pics of the old cans i'd love to see them too menace/88.
menaceIIsobriety
yeah, that's pretty ignorant imo. if anything canned beer is far superior to glass because it is absolutely airtight & lets in zero sunlight which i am sure you all know is the #1 enemy to beer. canned IPA's are the way to go. (jeeezus we had some awesome brew last night)
misterblunt
cans reduce the carbon footprint, more easily recycled, take up less space, let in less light, etc. Soon I'm betting most of the beer section will be cans.
menaceIIsobriety
really it is the expense of canning craft beers that most brewers stray away.
