dudebra1
i've never seen the brooklyn beer whats the story/why's it special? Brooklyn was one of the first American micros. They helped popularize small breweries and got people away from Bud/Miller/Busch. The lager is good, but I'm a fan of the East India Pale Ale. Lesbian Fisting
This is more of "Let me post this obscure mirco-brew" thread.
Fist 666
eh, its more of a beer snob/beer fan thread. the best beers are NOT made by huge companies. they are NOT readily available in all locations. if the beers here are obscure to you it might because they're not available in your area, or you haven't spent time to quest for the 'best beer' imo.

yinz n'at
i go to this mix your own six pack place and pay about 15 buck for a sixer, but every friday my girl and i each get one and try a whole lot of different beers
Fist 666
cool. i've been trying to sober up the last year or so, not all the way, but drink less... so i've been doing less 'research' myself. but i still like grabbing the occasional 6er of something i've never seen or even heard of. sometimes you win. sometimes you lose. usually you end up drunk/buzzed so you win anyways... yinz n'at
haha yeah, last night we each had 6 different ipa's most were good, the best i believed was this magic hat i have never seen before followed closely by the stone ruination ipa i posted above

christo-f
another great thing concerning the explosion in micro-breweries, other than the beer itself, is the great beer names and awesome label designs. There's just something cool about drinking a beer that has a devil on the label!
