Who would've known a disc golf course this nice would be like 5 minutes outside of Worchester. I guess there was another supposedly nice course like half a mile down the road on the other side too, but it was wayyyyy too hot to play 36. MrChupacabra Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 Yeah, more or less. The goal is to get the disc in the basket from the tee. Same theory as golf, but with discs and baskets instead of balls and holes /nh. They're different style discs than your average frisbees though and as such, the actual motions of the throw aren't the same and they fly quite a bit differently. Pretty similar to golf in that you can get various discs for different types of shots and that curve and fly differently . Basically, it's a great excuse to walk around outside, smoke some cigarettes, drink some beer, have some good conversations and relax. It doesn't hurt that it's fun as hell to play too.
