Crocodile Tears Posted May 2, 2010 Share Posted May 2, 2010 ok so i went to the opening of shepard fairey's gallery on sat. boy called me up who had an in there and i said yeah why not. though im not really a fan, never owned anything GIANT, when i was in high school like 30% of the kids i knew had the "andre the giant has a posse" sticker on their wallets. anyway there were a few celebrities there, kinda funny. line went for almost 2 blocks. i was actually impressed with all the hype. but i thought where were these fags in 1993 when these stickers were on toll booths from here to rhode island. hollywood didnt know. i think he officially blew up when he made the obama hope poster. a reporter there tried to put him on the spot and asked him indirectly about selling out. his answer, "i have a wife and a daughter thats my motivation for everything" shut him down. he gets my nod, not that its anything but when i saw he had shirts in a philly botique a few years back i was like :rolleyes: now its all good still not my thing but i give credit when its due. got the call started walking over. huge fire took out a whole building last week street closed. old police headquaters now i think its a banquet hall shooting a movie line. and we are in. dudes were waiting on line for 5 hrs. dedication. damn. sometimes vip makes me feel guilty. cont.
