Oldboy

Oldboy.jpg

"With no clue how he came to be imprisoned, drugged and tortured for 15 years -- and no one to hold accountable for his suffering -- a desperate businessman seeks revenge on his captors, relying on assistance from a friendly waitress. Korean director Chan-wook Park -- a former philosophy student and Hitchcock devotee -- uses his influences to create a mesmerizing psychological drama with a resolution that will leave you speechless. "

I liked it a lot.

TONS OF GOOD ADVICE ALREADY POSTED.

GLADIATOR (the plot)

GRAFFITI ROCK (the sheer dopeness of the roots of hip hop-

along with a famous actress dancing on the set)

GO (you have to pay attention)

SHAOLIN vs LAMA (kung-fu flick, some versions are english)

TOMBSTONE (once again the plot, and in a way, old school

vs new school)

A great classic movie that was just rereleased is The Passenger directed by Antonioni. The film is from 1975 and should be seen.

i just watched it on the bigscreen for the first time last week... easily my favorite antonioni film (who also happens to be my favorite director).
