all right, i'm a big woody allen fan, and enjoy a lot of slowly-paced "sophisticated" (what?) movies. I saw a screening of Match Point at a film festival last november and I didn't enjoy it at all. The first half seemed like a silly, over the top love triangle movie, and the second half seemed like a silly, over the top murder mystery. it was like a pulp novel you get at the airport. please tell me what I missed. cuz everyone digs this movie except for me. (catch Stardust memories for a good w. allen movie)

I'm going to Barcelona for 3 weeks in March. Any locals wanna show me around, or just give some fun awesome travel tips? (RE: the second half of request--Foreigners apply) thx :gaga:

I'd be impressed by that shot as well, but knowing Spielberg, I'd bet that although there was no visible cutting, it was not a continuous shot. i.e. computers are really good nowadays. I could be wrong of course. I could also be biased, since I thought WOTW was dreadful.

It was ok. I liked the purpose of hte movie, I didn't like the execution. Too much humor actually...lots of silly jokes and dancing around. Felt like it should of been handled more...dryly? Surprising considering the director. 6/10
