ndv Posted April 1, 2021 Share Posted April 1, 2021 Incredible. You know those hunk hands that debuted as a toy years back? So basically when I engage the lane keep assist button for my auto. The steering wheel has sensors that sense when hands are not on the steering wheel, so the LKAS will disengage for a specific period of time has laps when no hands are detected. The faster I go the shorter the intervals are. So my thought is, if I get those hulk hands and put then on the steering wheel I maybe able to fool the systems so I can not worry about putting my hands on the steering wheel, but only when I really need to intervene. I commented elsewhere that since the pandemic one channel or another seems to be playing I, II, and Goodfellas just about every night of the week.
