I work with an interior designer that dreams up some shit for people and then calls me to come execute. She basically hands me off to the home owner and my price is my price. This level of customer is the dream and the people have all been super cool so far. But I come in swinging from my own dick like a psycho Tarzan when it's general contractors that are in a tough spot because they tried to subcontract out labor for bottom dollar. Fuck them. It's a demographic that makes sense when you have the financial means to do so. My buddy works with interior designers all the time becuase of the clientele. Good work deserves good pay. Architects are just favorable too, however, architects are a little more anal with what types of materials they want to use and how they are used becuase they had this dream or dropped acid and sold the idea to some billionaire that throws money at fantasies too. But Architects have budgets too, that's where the douche bag GM comes in to play trying to get everything for nothing. You know, when I get a phone call from someone wanting an engraving on a pen, or some memento personalized of some sort where they mention a price for next to nothing as it's obvious they just want to get it as cheap as possible, they will finish by asking how much do I charge. I say sorry put the lead on. She asks is he microchipped I say of course he is. She whips out a scanner and pings him. Been a wild ride for the old dude. 3 days after my younger brother is in hospital with coma, pops get diagnosed with throat cancer but mad early stage. So he goes through his entire radiation treatment while my youngest brother is in a coma, drives himself to get zapped then would head up to the hospital to see my brother. The good thing is that his cancer was caught hella early - likely the product of smoking tree for 50 years, Reds for 30 and drinking for most of his adult life. I copped old boy some new shoes for his last birthday- but he still rocks the cut offs when he feels like it. My brother came home from the hospital like 4 weeks ago - which partially answers @LUGR question. The doctors thought he was going to die - then they said he would probably need a wheelchair, maybe he wouldn’t be able to speak etc. The dude has all is faculties, his memory is spotty at times but getting better everyday. The worst that happened was he had two small strokes while he was in the coma - so his right arm and hand need some work, but he is pretty fucking fine all things considered. Fucking crazy. The newest family drama is my other brother caught a bunch of cases all spun a few weeks ago. Dude is an undiagnosed schizophrenic and gets nutty as a fruitcake when he uses - looks like he will be down for a minute on these cases and I hope he at least gets some help or qualifies for some diversion court or something. I also have empty 10 litre water containers I can store piss in, so if I save some up I can leave a massive river of piss in My wake. In case you cannot tell, I am done tolerating a society whereby greed has gotten to the point that I, a person who has worked for 11 consecutive days at the only job left for Me to perform as a result of being unwilling to get 2 or more jabs with an experimental vaccine, is still unable to afford to rent a room within His weekly budget unless it is a total dump.
