SwampFightOner
so you only shave your face once a week?? Yeah. My face looks like this
Daniel Dumielle
This is where its at for yal who like the safety razors. And if you are comfortable shaving yourself with one of these, I think this one would be a welcome edition to your collection. And as far as regular shaving goes, I'm with watson. The barber does that shit official, and cheap. And I don't have to worry about weilding a small sword next to me neck if I want a straight razor shave. SwampFightOner
Exactly. My barber hooks me up with the straight razor once a week and I never hafta worry about it

SwampFightOner
By the end of the week I'm starting to look kinda rough, but as long as I get in there by Thursday I feel OK. If I go a day over (I skipped my haircut completely last week), I feel fucking disgusting

pupusas
didn't think i was the only one rocking a safety razor. shits way more elite, a learning curve to it. and buying shave creams and aftershaves is the shit. badger and blade will do it to ya. the blades are mad cheap also. screw those double blade and up razors. that canned go is no good. rocking s brush to apply lather is
acer910
how do you keep the brush clean??
pupusas
when i bought it i washed it with shampoo, just cause i guess. after every time i shave, it gets a good rinsing and a shampoo wash when i feel like its time. it's Badger hair.i bought it at Crabtree and Evelyn
watson
so the brush is strictly only for that? i just don't see the advantages in comparison to using your hand

acer910
Brush helps raise/loosen the hair. wouldnt in lay down the hairs? whereas if you good with your hand /nh you can get it so your hand doesnt touch your face and theres nothing but shaving cream to lay it down. vs shaving cream and brush hairs. has anyone ever let a big thing of shaving cream just dry? i accidently let that happen with some barbasol on the sink and it almost 100 percent evaporated away. was pretty cool

YouMad.GIF
I thought shaving brushes were supposed to be used for the old style cake shaving cream you dip the brush in water, swish it around on the cake making it lather, then put it on your face while it's foamy on the brush my stepdad had that shit Back in the day
dwel
I have one of those 70 dollar remmington jawns and it works aight...takes for fuggin ever, but its a close shave with no razor burn.
armand hammer
so ive been shaving using just glycerin soap as the soap no foam no bullshit and a disposable razor with 3 blades...no bumps no nothing and much smoother.next i think ill get a safety razor or steal a box of disposables
Decyferon
I just use Nivea shaving gel, Gilette fusion razor then Nivea aftershave balm once done I hate shaving my missus goes on at me if I don't shave for a day because she finds it too scratchy
pupusas
the barbasol evaporated cause all the shit that goes in that can. i've let that shave cream posted dry out, and it didn't. shit was still good. i wouldn't ever go back to those 3 blades and shit. the slimy, pully, thing is what i don't like.also made from cheap steel. and the gels and shit suck ass. i got other shavecreams/aftershave balms also.
