Media One
They definitely have different names for this depending on where you are. I love anything Ayinger do and they have the best bottle cap design
Media One
Barrel Drop. Decent little boozer down an alley. Pretty quiet for a city centre pub so always good to visit.
Media One
The Billy aka King Billy aka the William the 4th. This pub has been in the family a while now and is always good for a pint in an environment that feels like your grandmas lounge. Some local news filmed me drinking here once but lord knows if they ever put it on air. 5

One Man Banned
@Media OneI think this has been covered before but I need to start referring to the bars here as boozers. 1 1

Media One
Doctor’s Orders. Same owners as the barrel drop I posted the other day. I think it was a chemist back in the day hence the name, they have all medicine bottles on the walls too. A bit further out of town and usually attracting old folk, but it usually has a a few decent beers on.
Media One
Supposedly the oldest pub in the England, this is about a 5 minute walk from work but I never go here as it’s usually rammed full of tourists. They say it was built in 1169 and was a stop off for crusaders heading to Jerusalem. There’s loads of ghosts and spooky goings on too like a cursed galleon and a chair that if you sit in you’ll get pregnant.
Media One
Located in the old (now destroyed) slums, the Newshouse used to be the place where the working class men used to come to have the opportunity to read newspapers. I don’t think the toilets have changed since it was rebuilt after WW2

One Man Banned
Was out the door to the brewery the other day when I thought to myself, I'm headed to the boozer. 1
Media One
Cock and Hoop. Nice cosy boozer but they haven’t put the fire on yet despite the rain battering Britain right now
Media One
Keans Head. 1 room pub that I used to work at in the kitchen then on the bar. A lot of fun sampling and enjoying a multitude of pints. I remember the manager used to do a break even keg every few months meaning no money would be made on sales but everyone could enjoy some random expensive beer at a regular price
metronome
Every boozer should do a break even keg.

Media One
There had to be at least one upside down photo. If you like this stuff then it’s a great place to visit. They just let you wander around on your own poking your head into big vats and up sketchy sets of stairs. 3

Disagree about Korean beer being good. I have long considered it the worst beer in Asia and possibly the world. That’s just like my opinion man so don’t go thrashing me too hard.
Schnitzel
I've only tried a few to be honest Hite Cass and this one all agree with me. but I probably like shitty beer. like I like coors and Becks and corona and the rest. I look at this thread and think 90% of this stuff I just couldn't drink. 2 minutes ago, LUGR said: Disagree about Korean beer being good.
