crime stoppers Posted September 14, 2011 Share Posted September 14, 2011 alright my drinking comrades. in belgium now. fought tooth and nail and searched endless bottle shops for a westvleteren...finally fucking found one, the brewery is closed for harvest, got the last number 12 in the entire shop, cost a fucking bomb but i am sure it will be worth it. went to a bar that had over 2400 beers about 50 on tap in the Delirium village which has several bars and a few specialising in just whisky, absinthe and vodka. if youve ever remembered my posts i am a sucker for whisky and it wasnt long before i vomitted on myself and made the bartenders hate me. the next day we went back and kept on drankin, st fieullen triple and saison, struisse black albert, nocturnum noel and nocturnum for my boy, lupulus triple and a few others which i can only mention if i find the photos to remember. wow, just fucking wow. go travelling because nothing is more fun, particularly if its all about beer as you guys know. tomorrow we head to munich for oktoberfest on the 17th...going to be the loosest few weeks of my life. we just came from amsterdam and that shit is tame compared to our plans. stay tuned for the photos, and my review of the worlds rarest beer.
