HydrogenPeroxide
they tore down the pub that was less than a block away. now its 4 within a block, and a billion if i want a 2 minute cab ride. I'm not too happy about $6 pints though, so beers on the beach it is...

stunt double
i live in a smallish town where drinking is a way of life, we have about 15 bars/clubs here. most of them suck... there is one bar frequented by my mates which is a nice place, free broadband, videogames, pool, lounges, outdoor area, coopers on tap, all in a massive colonial era hotel on the river. *PROTOCOL*
There are hardly any bars where I live now and none of them open till like 6 in the afternoon. Puts a real hamper on things when all you want at 9am is a good shot and a cigarette and a jukebox. Its a relatively large city too, I'm like WTF?? fuse=--action
We don't have any that I would consider to be in my hood. But my buddy and I brew our own beer, Soon we'll be kegging instead of bottling (we've run out of bottles) and it will be like our own private pub. A pub with free internet, dogs, cats, tv we control, and comfortable couches. Oh, and a kitchen that stays open all night. -fuse.
