Google adwords pays out approx. 5 cents a click for my crappy low volume website, I'm sure a high traffic site can make more off them. As far as the e-mail spam... you know those botnets you're always hearing about? Conficker, all that type of shit? The maintainers of the virus / bot networks lease out time on them to spammers who sell penis pills and scams, and it's a multi-million dollar industry. You basically pick a state that doesn't really have any particular stereotypes about it and make up a new one. First I yelled at some dude in traffic that he drove like he was from Montana. Then we got back to my friend's house and he gets all serious for a minute and says to his roommate... "Dude... My girlfriend walked in the other day... and well... she says you jerk off like you're from North Dakota." He was confused as fuck for about 15 minutes before he figured out that we were fucking with him.

A quad core xeon is a quad core xeon no matter the system it's installed in.... if it's a PC it might be a six core. But you're right, the out of box factor is a major issue in any industry, and is probably reason enough for production houses that have been running on Macs to stay that way.
