Next day started playing it safe Even Marty donned the official AKA safety gear. Mr. Raven, Futura, Martha Cooper, and an anonymous 12oz legend in the back Futura turning $12 kicks into collectors items. Octavio taking a different approach to footwear. Martha Cooper & Henry Chalfont dropping in. Me giving an interview covering the virtues & downfalls of hostess snowballs Octavio & Gustavo taking an actual interview break Crew Taking a break in that hot NYC summer heat/humidity Back in the Lab AKA/12oz Headquarters Finishing up the job. Futura let me drive the whip that day, insane 1 of BMW, and I didn't scratch the rims. Finito. Originally the the school said it had to be an educational mural, so the Twins gave a B&W sketch showing all the flags and the school gave permission thinking at least the kids could learn the flags. Later, they did all the flags the wrong colors. Genius. My favorite is the Molotov Cocktail ancom flag where the left ball would rest. Was deep into photography, and for a minute thought I was good at it. That is, until instagram made everyone a lifestyle photographer, then I realized I was mid, and just ahead of my time with it.
