What is it not? It’s all agenda driven. To even say it’s click bait bullshit to drive as traffic, is naive and antiquated. It’s a bigger game and the theatrics from the MSM is what help herd the masses.

The media loves a sensation and especially so on the Trump era. But it's not just the media carrying on, it's also a bunch of different analysts, commentators and industry folk who don't have ulterior motives that are getting all whipped up in their own puddles of outrage ejaculate.

Starting to look like Sulameini was actually arriving at the airport when the strikes hit, not leaving.

I might have to walk my position back on this, somewhat*. If he wasn't directly implicated in the recent unrest, it will really change the slant on the assassination.

*Keeping in mind that QS has the blood of thousands of civilians on his hands and implements the agenda of a leadership that executes gays, Ba'hai's, dissidents, etc.

As an anarchist I’m conflicted here, my philosophy says those people working in The Iraqi US Embassy knew what they were getting into when they signed up so starting a war on their behalf will lead to even more harm. On the other hand, I’ve always hated the Iranian religions leadership knowing the fact that they still chant “death to America“ regularly. I mean yeah we did fuck around with installing a puppet leader 50 years ago, and did sponsor Saddam's war, but the war was one generation ago (and quite frankly I can’t blame them after that hostage situation), and if they still have a hair up their ass about the Sha, talk about a victim hood mentality that was at least two generations ago in the 70’s.

With that said, I’ve never been for any war, but I’m also all about self-defense. If it’s true that dickwad was coordinating an attack against United States citizens and diplomats in that embassy, then fuck him, glad he got vaporized. Waiting to see how this plays out, hopefully we do not send ground troops in to invade. Some of my friends have already said they’re deploying 82nd airborne Out of Fort brag, a lot of them. I am also reading that people in the armed forces are being told to make sure they have their wills in order. So who knows what’s going to happen, Either way one thing is for sure, I’m not towing the anarchist “party line” on this one 100% and do see this conflict as defensive in nature now that the picture is becoming clearer.

According to an NBC News reporter, an organizer for the funeral procession for Gen Qassem Soleimani called on all Iranians to donate $1 each 'in order to gather an $80million bounty on President Trump's head'.

Iran puts an $80million BOUNTY on Trump's head and threatens to attack the White House after top military leader called the president a 'terrorist in a suit' for saying he will hit 52 Iranian targets

Imagine having $80m but you have to live in a fortified bunker so far off grid in a dump like Iran in constant fear of team 6 dropping by, or stealth drones and never feel safe again. Running for your life every time you hear an airplane, or a dog barks (I’d prefer to get vaporized then die from a well trained Dutch Sheppard). Although Iranians do have some excellent food l, and a good percentage of women there are pretty hot, especially compared to the rest of the Middle East.  I’d give the would be assassin about two days  before someone there in Iran sells them out to the US for a reward and the snitch gets to live here in safety in the U. S. and actually spend that $80m. Yea, don’t know if an assassin would think this all through but an assassin smart enough to be able to pull it off probably would.

Not for nothing but this is trolling.

You're obviously an intelligent guy and know that partisan politics are exactly that and we're in an era where we're seeing the division and decisiveness ramp up to unprecedented new levels. The skit you posted above can just as easily be applied to the left with very little modification. Both sides are blatantly hypocritical with their blind faith to their tribe. The difference though, at least here in the states, is that if you chose call out the right, you're just sort of jumping on the bandwagon. Even in rural areas like where I live, to display or communicate your support for Trump sort of positions you as the black sheep going against the masses. To do so in a major city gets you a verbal assault at the very least and possibly physically assaulted if you happen to do it around a crowd of worked up liberals, which is almost the normal atmosphere in places like NYC and LA.

I'm calling you out on this, and no doubt @Kults often contributes to the mirror side of that dichotomy, not because I care about your position or feel the need to defend Trump or his camp, but because most of us here are smart enough to recognize the bullshit game that has half the world at each others throats. How about we take a step back, take a breath and genuinely explore topics and call out the wrongs and rights objectively, cause fact is they're both entirely full of shit and as everyone jumps into the fray of this polarized shit show, the ones behind it just become more bold, more audacious and keep steering their own interests with little respect for anyone, including the ideologies of their own party, let alone the people tearing each other apart on their behalf.

And we're off to the races

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7854427/New-rocket-attack-launched-embassy-Baghdad.html?ico=pushly-notifcation-small

Multiple explosions have been heard near the US embassy in Baghdad, after three rockets were fire at the site.

The rockets are believed to have missed the embassy, with local reports suggesting they hit an apartment complex instead, killing civilians.

It is the second night in a row that the embassy has been attacked and comes after the US killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

Residents of the Iraq's capital of Baghdad say three explosions rang out heard inside the heavily-fortified Green Zone, home to the US Embassy and the seat of Iraq's government.

Alert sirens were sounded Sunday in the area on the west bank of the Tigris river.

Or....

The Iranian government takes the $80,000,000, that it knows it will never pay out because no assassin can get anywhere near Donnie, and just straight up pockets it.

Corrupt govt gonna corrupt.

That’s what I was thinking, like if I had a chance and said fuck it,  I’d hit the Iranians up via my man with the kabob stand on 5th & 54th st in Manhattan (the only Iranian dude I know this motherfucker is smart as shit, we played guess what country their from for lunch one day he was spot on calling out Albanians, Koreans, Greeks etc 100% accuracy). Then the Iranian gov would hit me back like “yo, we’re going to need some proof lol” and now I’m broke because I didn’t take a selfie when I did the deed and now I’ve got secret service on my ass but Bernie and AOC get elected and I swallow my capitalist pride and pretend I’m a lazy socialist too so they pardon my crimes. Still broke but a hero to Mexicans now so I got Taco’s coming in from all over North America. Still not as dope as that $80m and few of those smoking hot Iranian gold diggers that know how to belly dance in my own personal haram chilling with me in my spider hole like Saddam with a pile of cash, just fucking all day, eating kabobs, watching out for drones, and dogs with sharp teeth that are smarter than most humans. Not that I’ve given this any thought but yea, nobody is getting that $80m the government would keep it and you’d be dead if you tried.

You don't think that horse has already bolted for 12OZ though?

Can't point to pages of proper research and exploration of topics in good faith but it's just not welcome here. Getting together info to back up your position is apparently condescending, or it's not worth reading because it's fake news, faggy or some other silly shit.

I mean the climate change thread, an issue that is perfectly about science and information is just a meme thread for antagonising the other side.

It's probably time to just accept what the website has become now. Nobody here is actually interested in objective investigation, it's just about scoring internet points now. Unfortunate but it is what it is, I guess.

I’d say we all do fuck up in here and say rude shot, and we all get but hurt every once in a while too, but we can bro hug this shit out /nohomo and keep it moving in this section. I just think it’s worth it for us to try to improve at least among our small group, IRL I know we’re all better people than our online political personas. I couldn’t think of a better group of people I’d rather offend, Be offended by, or creep out with my conspiracy theories, and odd ball anarchistic perspectives.

This is interesting. Paul is Canadian and was most recently the HC to Australia, which is how I came to know him. He's widely respected in naval circles and does not have a reputation for BS. Really interesting that even back in 2007 this kind of course was being run inside the US defence forces. I wonder what that sentiment is like today, especially in the face of the plausibility of another war in the Mid East.

In 2007 I attended an "allied" module of the US Capstone course for General/Flag officers. The focus was on speaking truth to power & never allowing a future POTUS/WH to repeat 2003 by committing forces to a disastrous campaign. So the lesson was identified, but not yet learned?

Its because of how you're aware and have more insight than average that I call out when I see you forfeiting it to take a jab. And no, I disagree with much of the rest of what you're saying. The way I'm understanding your comment, you seem to imply that things have deteriorated... "It's probably time to just accept what the website has become now." Hard to take this as anything else, but if its now how it was intended, please clarify as I'd argue that 12oz is exponentially more intelligent than at any time in its past. We've been known plenty for LOLz and graffiti, but insightful examination of contemporary events isn't anything that existed in any real way in days past.

But I do see the dynamic of how these discussions go as indicative of the world at large. How quickly things degrade into insult or emotionally / ego driven responses, if not useless tit for tat come backs. I'm not solely calling you out on that, as it takes two and Kults is plenty responsible for his end. Likewise, whether people admit it or not, myself included, we're all subject to our own confirmation bias. I tend to maintain a position of fuck both sides in regards to politics, but I'd be a liar if I didn't acknowledge that I tend to skew right on a lot of these conversations. Whether its because I also tend to side with the under dog, which in the weirdest of ways the right has become these days, or the fact that most of the debates on here I partake on are generally in regards to economy or legislation, I'm as guilty as anyone else in allowing my own bias to back fill my position in discussing these subjects.

The sad fact is really that it seems so impossible for us in this little corner of the internet that know each other as well as we do and are so like minded across so many other topics, can't seem to see past the bullshit and reach a point of mutual respect with these conversations. A true equilibrium of understanding, acknowledgement and respect, that it truly makes it hard to be anything but hopeless that the nation, let alone the world has any semblance of hope that it might be able to do so.

I think at the end of the day we all do in fact have some sort of respect for each other, as we continue to frequent the board and I'd like to think that if together in real life we'd be more apt to buy each other a beer than throw blows, but it truly is a shame that as intelligent as we all are in our own ways, that push comes to shove, it just degrades into petty insults and trolling. Genuinely wish we were smarter than that and could find better and more effective ways to communicate, as well as genuinely understand and appreciate that sometimes it isn't about 'winning' a debate or convincing an another to your point of view. Lot of times, there is no real wrong or right or clear cut solution. Sometimes, the world is what it is and we'd be best served focusing on ourselves and immediate sphere of reality and influence rather than assuming we can fully understand the worlds problems and perhaps solve them if everyone else would simply accept the interpretation you've settled on.

If its not obvious, I'll disclaim I'm not trying to pick on you and there's a lot of characters on here that contribute to the dichotomy that degrades a lot of these threads. Though I can't always wander down the various rabbit holes and digest all these long answers and scrutinize reference links, I do try and wrap my head around the ones that resonate with me personally. Regardless, I do respect that you are insightful and strive to be thorough in presenting your hypothesis and argument, even if I sometimes do not agree with your take away.
