The Coalition — of which CSPI is a part — also wants BATF to determine whether the product’s promotion of its "natural" ginseng ingredient violates federal labeling regulations. The "Phat Boy" product features African colors and hip-hop-style letters, clearly targeting young, urban, African-American males. (For those who don’t know, "phat" is slang for "cool" or "hip," and ginseng is a reputed aphrodisiac.)
