As for disassembling, I've only seen videos...and I'd call it more "delicate handling" than "pain in the ass". I've ripped open several other iPod models and suped up the batteries, etc. no prob. The main thing I'm on the hunt for are old 3g's. Thinking this could be lucrative but don't want to invest very much dough in the initial buy. I've been searching craigslist since my iphone 3gs att $200 makes me $650 deal. Also: disassembling? pain in the ass or not? make sure you get tools that are worth a damn. my 1st gen got damaged because of shoddy tools that broke during the repair process. the 1st gen iphones are the biggest pain in the ass to disassemble, but the newer versions are a lot easier. if you do it though, try to find high quality tools, there's a LOT out there floating around that are terrible that will actually cause damage rather than help take apart the phone Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wreck.One Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 I can't tether through USB on my mac through the standard OS tethering, I've never been able to get it to work on any mac, but once again plug it into a vista laptop and it recognized without doing anything I have to use PDAnet and WiFi an ad hoc network on my mac you can tether via usb by downloading the pda net desktop client @ http://www.junefabrics.com/desktop/ blackrain aint worth a fuck. blackrain worked perfect for me on two diff phones running osx and windows 7.. the only thing is it doesnt give you direct access to your root files so someone wrot hfc2add (or something like that) available via cydia. Shit broken... Anybody else have this happen? I kno the screen alone cost probably close to 100 to fix but the moisture problem... Did i cook my itouch. Is this problem fixable? Jetcarstunts has to be the funnest game on my iPhone I deff recomend it. Another cool game is nova by gameloft it's a halo inspired game with multiplayer deathmatch and great graphics .. I love my iphone, and it comes in handy all the time, but i hate people who think it's cool to start playing games in social situations. I understand if you need to kick out a quick important email or whatever, but i've seen motherfuckers sitting at a party or a bar playing games on their phone. And I also can't watch videos in safari. I thought the Itouch had enabled flash, hence the use of youtube. The fuck goes on here?
