Bojangles
Teetas, A lot of people see that in my work but truth be told, I've never had an interest in Asian letterform, unless I'm taking it in sub-consciously. Who knows?
Big Teetas
Damn poe, you got some paint skills. And yeah, it just kind of reminds me of them. Maybe you are. Subliminal stuff always goes down when we dont realise. I Notice a bit of Benjamin Marras work in mine.

EastSwaggings
These are two recent pieces which I have finished concerning abstraction, or a variation of the element. If any of you remember the studies which I posted several pages back, the end result came into fruition on the first piece. schism
oh, those are sick. i'm not a huge fan of pure abstraction, so its cool to see the semi-abstracted figure with the 'normal' figures. cant explain why, but i really like the solid triangle too. good shit. the.crooked
I can't remember if I've brought his work into here before, but J.M.W. Turner has always been an interesting figure to me. I feel his landscapes (while still most certainly that) have elements that hint at the coming american/gobal abstract expressionism of the next century: This artist was linked in the Babble, but her shit is bangin and ties in with the Turner stuff: Melanie Authier

CLEMENZA
Its awesome how you brought Turner in here. He has always been one of my favorite painters. I've been working on a mastercopy of one of his joints for a while. I'll post it in here once i get a little bit more done.

swampthing
Poly that second one is a great direction, your work is really progressing! Look at Pema Rinzin's work.
Polyethylene
Thanks swampthing- slow and steady steady and slow. Pema Rinzin's stuff is really neat- I'm not sure if it was intentional but it's great how on his site the order of images progresses from sort of normal neo-psychedelic line and cloud forms onward into really wild, far out/far east looking masses. Good looks!
