KILZ FILLZ
bojangles do you stretch yer own canvases?
Bojangles
I'm good at it and do once in awhile but I'm usually too lazy and just buy Fredrix pre-stretched. I can answer any questions you have about it though.

Bojangles
what type of cheap, easily available fabric can i use? curtains? bed sheets? and whats the stuff you prime the raw fabric with called again? You can use most cotton linens/fabrics as long as you prime them with a decent gesso like Liquitex brand. I'd still recommend using a canvas grade "heavy duck" surface that's artist grade if you plan on taking your paintings seriously. You can get a 56" x 9ft. roll for like 30 bucks. (And it's already primed!)
KILZ FILLZ
ill probaby get some of the heavy duck at some point. thats a lot of material. i would enjoy priming and finding some fabric to use just to be able to do this from scratch again. havent done it since an art class a while ago. i dont take it too seriously.not trying to sell. the last few years ive been giving my stuff away as bday/holiday presents for fam and friends. thanks bo im gonna grab some liquitex this will be fun

earl broclo ESQ
^^my opinion is that needs something else. I don't know what, but it's a good start. And Bojangles, that "Get Low" is nice work man. Glad to see you're at least posting in here still.

ShortFuse
of course...good youre taking it as feed back..everything is defined but not solid enough. It almost looks back drop-ish for something bigger.
Bojangles
I like it Blank. I wouldn't add too much more but I'd use that center strand as a base for some form/s to tumble across/hang down from. And Earl, I've officially turned lurker these days outside of Untitled. I think I'm just gonna hide in here and grow old.
