I saved a lot of money and told all my family to pitch in for my christmas present. i was able to save $8.31 in a couple months and my family came up with the rest with a dollar to spare. now i have it and cant put it in my computer, can someone please help? it was worth a lot of money, please. i dont know what computer i have cause its a lot of different kinds, my grandpa got it for me at the flea market, he goes every weekend and it took him almost six months to get all the different parts so i know its a really good one. i only have a picture to show what it is. it is me in the picture trying to get it to work. lord_casek
Ok, so I got a Blackberry 8830. I used to be able to connect it to my Windows based PC and transfer media back and forth. Now the PC does not recognize the USB. I always get a box saying 'please insert disk into drive G:'. I tried changing letters for the drive. Searched the webs for solutions. Nothing solid. What gives? http://blackberry-nl.com/index.php/topic,318.from1140777690/topicseen.html#msg699

dwel
hey guys, another networking question. So, if my desktop is running XP, how would I have a home group set up to recognize my HD's from my w7 laptop? ....example: when my desktop is running w7, my laptop has no problem accessing shared files from the desktop, but when i have xp running on my desktop, my w7 laptop doesnt pick up my drives on the network. Any ideas?

The Flowsmith
Most likely from sketchy internet porn, i got some really annoying "virus?" on my pc that keeps redirecting me from google links i click on. In the URL bar it says redirect, then sends me to random advertisement sites, and once in a while it sends me to fancast.com. to actually get to my desired link, i have to try like 5 times. How do i get rid of this?

watson
so what is the deal with FLAC files? are these what mp3s are becoming?
LastBoyScout
FLAC is lossless they are about 30-50% the size of a .wav but much bigger then .mp3 which deletes a lot of data. They probably the future of audio but thats a long ways off, cause HD sizes, bandwidth, and ipod support need to catch up. until then it wil be just for audiofiles
