shai
Without checking out the laptop in person, I couldn't tell you much more than to make sure the router password is being typed in right and that the card is actually turned on. See if there's any driver updates or issues regarding the card, too. In my experience, Windows 7 has the easiest wifi setup/connection I've ever dealt with. lord_casek
It's either spyware (reboot, F5, safemode, scan with a squared free and gmer) or a bad hard drive

autoteller
if you can't find which drivers, use sandra http://www.sisoftware.net/?dir=dload&location=sware_dl_3264 and it'll identify your hardware make/model and such. extremely useful if you're using integrated graphics rather than a video card. it's a good starting point.

T4M*
If the My Music folder is in the wrong location or incorrectly assigned in the Windows registry, you may see one of the following error messages: * "The folder iTunes is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder." * "The folder iTunes cannot be found or created and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the Music folder."
SwampFightOner
So it seems every problem comes back to my registry, or a disk being corrupt. I honestly don't know jack shit about computers, so I think I'mma just bring my hard drive over to my nerdy brother in-law

poes
My girlfriends giving me her old external HD so that I can hook it up with the wii. Its a Western Digital one. Im not sure of the model right now but it looks like this: http://www.hardware.info/en-US/articles/am9naGpqZA/Western_Digital_My_Book_500_GB_Pro_Edition__Review/ Anyway, shes given it to me with a Firewire cable. But I need a USB. It has ports for both. The lead from my own HD is much smaller. Anybody know where I'd be likely to find a USB cable for it?
