yeah i got that too...when i first started i could barely do any...now its no biggie...try doing like other exercises for your abs instead of only situps...or try doing situps or leg raises off a bench...or on an inclined surface or something

iono im not very knowledgable in these things but thats what id do

Youre going to hit a plateau (sp?), when you do, you have to change your routine completely, add new exercises, addmore days, switch days, change eating habbits, increase carbs or protein.

 

Your body will adapt to anything thrown at it.

 

2-4 week cycles are best. For me atleast.

alright... so i've done some research. I'm looking into a weightless work out routine (I'm already a monster).

 

I'm thinking about just doing 4 sets or crunches (w/ feet elevated on a chair), and then burpees. Anyone know if I'd be missing anything big in this routine?

I do pilates, running, jump rope, various ab and leg excercises, some weights (girly light ones) and i try to be a gymnast by doing handstands .. that can hurt. i've had a gym membership since december and i've gone twice. I keep forgetting to cancel..

nah theres pilates moves you can do right in your very house. yes, its true people. I need to get one of those exercise balls.. those late night infomercials of rat faced brook burke with her CORE bull keeps brainwashing me to get one. Hiking is pretty cool also, it can really work your abs and legs.

I excersie mostly everyday,

 

I do a lot of running (Thanks Military Training)

Gym like 3 times a week. Mostly circuit training = Chest, Biceps, Sholders, Abs, Legs

The other days is just straight running like 3 to 4 miles at a 8 min mile pace. Sometimes I do only 2 but its "sprints". Anyone else like to run?

Yeah it is, I use to have many running injuries when I was in the Army. Then I got with a good Sports Doc and they showed me how to run right (General running mechanics, Weight exercises to help take the pressure off your lower body, and what the right running shoes I need.) got some physical therapy, they showed me how to stretch right. So now I am good to go, it’s been years since I have had a running injury. Most injuries are really from poor running mechanics, running more than you can handle, your lower body not being in good shape, and mostly from buying the wrong shoes to run in.

Morning:

1 x Multivitamin+Mineral

1 x Carnitine 500mg

1 x L-Phenylalanine 500mg

3 x Lysine 500mg

2 x Glutamine 500mg

1 x Chromium Picolate 200mcg

1 x Conjugated Linoleic Acid 750mg

 

Gym Round 1 Supplemental Groups

 

Mid-day:

1 x Conjugated Linoleic Acid 750mg

3 x Lysince 500mg

 

Gym Round 2 Mass Groups

 

Night:

1 x Multivitamin+Mineral

1 x Carnitine 500mg

1 x L-Phenylalanine 500mg

3 x Lysine 500mg

2 x Glutamine 500mg

1 x Conjugated Linoleic Acid 750mg

 

2 Whey protein shakes (~80g protein each)

1 PM Protein Shake casien and whey protein blend (~40g protein + 2g glutamine)

6-12 Ibuprofen for helping calm my tendonitis

Animal Pak (Shit loads of vitamins)

Of course Protein Shakes in the Morning after the work out

Thats pretty much it, I am really not looking to get to big since I mostly run. (More weight on me means more pressure on my lower body)

Also Ibuprofen to help with the lower body aches and pains from getting old.

i am the most out of shape motherfucker on this board

 

i can only run for about 20-30 seconds before i tire out and have to walk. i never work out, run lift weights, i eat lots of greasy food and lots of it.

 

 

i do have sex around 2 times a day so i guess thats my only workout. although sometimes i get tired of fucking so i just bust the nut so i can lie down.

 

 

this thread made me realize what a pathetic unhealthy peice of shit i am

-Same here, i always have the motivation to hit the gym after work but theres this thing called pot that seems to find a way in my schedule and ruin all plans i have...well, besides eating..

I had a bad habit of hitting up the gym and then afterwards heading to popeys and getting down with a 3 piece and a biscut. Just couldnt help it.
