I know several people that have bought off ebay and gotten some killer deals.

Word is...don't buy off ebay if the vehicle is from Texas. I heard some people have been taking 2 cars (1 with front end damage and 1 with rear end damage) and putting them together to make 1 good one. This wouldn't be much of a problem except for the fact that they are welding the two frame halves together.

anybody from Texas in the know?

^^ haha, it seems like over half the cars on ebay are from texas.

thats where my friend got his, and he was happy, he said always do a carfax check on them!!

carfax doesn't always work though.

someone I know wrecked his car. when he went to sell it he ran carfax on it...it came up clean...so thats how he sold it.

"Has it been wrecked?"

"I ran carfax on it for you and it came up clean."

sheister...

and yeah, lots and lots from Texas...apparently there are no laws there requiring disclosure.
