-Rage-
Well there are plenty of older Hardcore music threads on 12oz, but I wanted one specifically to bounce band ideas off each other. So without further adeu...here are some bands I've 'discovered': - rememberingnever. (holy shit!) - Set In Silence (more metalish) - moksha (more like a band that would appear on MTV, still good though) - They Came Burning - foreveririse - Reason For Being http://static-void.net/Lib/Media/Photos/5/IO.Spanky.Zack2_B.jpg'> P.S. Anyone who can guess who this is gets Hardcore mix CD and some stickers. (sorry if it loads slow)

Verse.. Ex-What Feeds The Fire. Rhode Island's finest. Diehard Youth.. Positive but pissed. They recently broke up, but you can still check out their music. Positive hardcore, GO! Dead Wrong.. Dr. Dazzle
I'm really confused as to the meaning of "hardcore". I've heard it been used from bands like At the Drive-In to Refused. So someone please shed some light.... Hopesfall would be the only "hardcore" band that I listen to.....

Tyler Durden
personally, i feel that the VAST majority of hardcore music has become incredibly stagnant and pretentious. however.....there is still some stuff that does it for me: shai hulud (ever since i first listened to these guys i've loved their music) old sick of it all onekingdown old earth crisis silent majority (......how has no one else mentioned them?) strongpoint i've been pretty fond of "suicide files" as of late...
