bloc party was one of those bands i thought were just riding the new "dance party" indie wave of popularity and were popular just because they were super trendy. then i got off my high horse and actually listened to their album and i realized they are actually really really good. that is all.

final cut pro, the title sequence was a mixture of photoshop and after effects.

i finished a design job and got a huge fucking check, i went straight to my local apple store and bought the 40 gig ipod. not only do i have all my music on the fucker, it works as a tiny firewire hard drive and i can take my files to school with ease. and not only can i use it as a hard drive when it's plugged in via firewire THE THING IS FUCKING CHARGING! it is really the most convienent piece of hardware i've purchased in al ong time. and worth every penny. bump for ipod.

this movie had the most style out of any movie i've seen recently. afterwards i was entirely blown away. this made up for all the shit that has been put out in the past two years. fucking brilliant. everything that was good about old martial arts movies, none of the bad. this movie is fantastic.

ok so who's watched this? it's on before elimidate i think, right about when those shows are on. so the premise is, if you suspect your signifgant other of cheathing you call this show and they document it and spy on your girlfriend or whatever. then if they're in fact cheating there's a big confrontation at the end with the host of the show and the person being cheated on asking the guilty party "why why are you doing this!?" and crap. well tonight some hick was cheating on his girlfriend on his boat, so cheaters took another boat out and boarded his boat and confronted him. homeboy got pissed, took out a blade and fucking shanked the host. the host grabbed his stomach and fell overboard. he was pulled back into the other boat and rushed to shore and was taken away in an ambulance. there were tons of shots of him with a fucking hole in his stomach and he was turning pale and just in shock. anyone else see this?

this is a band i heartily enjoy.
