WhAt_dA_fUcK Posted July 20, 2004 Share Posted July 20, 2004 hey whats up everyone i know no one really gives a shit when it comes down to it but i just thought i would let you know........... our battalion had our first KIA this morning in fallujah by an IED which is a roadside bomb usually triggered by a radio or cellphone up to 200-300 meters away...it sucks im starting to get the same feelin just like last time....as he stood up in the humvee to adjust his gear the bomb detonated sending a piece of shrapnel into the back of his neck and exiting his spine severing his spine if only he didnt stand up because the humvee didnt even have a scratch on it the blast went over the truck....not even a month into deployment and its already happening....i cant tell my family nor my girlfriend...because they will just worry...it sucks honestly truely sucks....back to your regularly scheduled lives.... I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say if you need to vent on 12oz feel free to do so, because people do care, even if we're just names on a grey screen. Stay safe.
